Eric Smith

Eric C. Smith serves as Senior Pastor of Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee, and Associate Professor of Church History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Candace, have three children. His most recent book is Between Worlds: John A. Broadus, The Southern Baptist Seminary, and the Prospects of the New South (LSU Press, 2026).
