Timothy Yap is an independent scholar whose work focuses on the Old Testament, as well as church and homiletics. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Zeitschrift für die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft (ZAW), Scandinavian Journal of the Old Testament (SJOT), Journal of the Evangelical Homiletics Society(JEHS), Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (JETS), Journal for the Study of the Old Testament (JSOT), and Biblische Notizen (BN), among others.
